AT-802F Fireboss in Action

Two AT-802F Fireboss aircraft were deployed on the afternoon of June 16 to support firefighting operations in the parishes of Caldas de São Jorge and Pigeiros, in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira. The aerial assets operated in coordination with ground crews, reinforcing the initial attack on the wildfire.

On the afternoon of June 17, four AT-802F Fireboss amphibious aircraft were deployed to support firefighting operations in Lomba, Gondomar. Captured here as they perform scooping maneuvers on the Douro River, near Cais de Midões, these aircraft played a critical role in the initial aerial attack against the advancing forest fire.
